Kasinath S S
Computer Science Undergraduate
I'm a Computer Science undergraduate drawn to the intersection of artificial intelligence, systems programming, embedded engineering, physics and mathematics. I like understanding systems from first principles and building computational tools that help answer scientific questions.
01 — About
Engineering from the ground up
I'm an aspiring interdisciplinary researcher with a strong foundation in Computer Science and a deep interest in applying artificial intelligence, systems programming, embedded systems and computational methods to challenging scientific problems.
My work sits at the boundary between software and hardware and between computation and the physical sciences — writing embedded C for AVR microcontrollers, exploring AI and natural language processing, and studying the algorithms, operating systems and architecture that everything else rests on.
My objective is a research career that combines Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Embedded Systems, Mathematics and Physics: contributing to scientific discovery through computational modeling, intelligent systems, software engineering and interdisciplinary collaboration, while continuously expanding both theoretical and applied knowledge.

04 — Philosophy
How I think
Start from first principles
Meaningful advancement comes from understanding systems deeply rather than treating them as black boxes. I try to reduce a problem to its simplest terms — what the hardware actually does, what the mathematics actually says.
Understand systems deeply
Working with microcontrollers leaves nowhere to hide. Registers, timing and memory have to be understood, not guessed at.
Build to learn
Every project is an experiment. I'd rather write the firmware, watch it fail, and read the datasheet than only read about it.
Bridge disciplines
I want to connect Computer Science with Physics and Mathematics — using computation, simulation and intelligent systems to attack fundamental scientific and engineering problems.
